[MyDaily = Reporter Park Seoyeon] TV personality Park Soo-hong and his daughter Jae-i brought warmth to single-parent families ahead of Children’s Day.
On the 23rd, the Jusarang Community said Park and his daughter donated handmade children’s shoes to 107 single-parent households in advance of Children’s Day in May.
Earlier, on the 16th, Park and Jae-i visited the Jusarang Community, which operates a baby box in Seoul, and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with director Lee Jong-rak committing to future cooperation.
The partnership grew out of a connection between AGNEAU and the Jusarang Community. In June 2024, AGNEAU donated baby clothes, accessories, and handmade shoes for the baby box and followed up with additional handmade shoes in September. Park and his daughter, who work as models for AGNEAU, joined the MOU after that sponsorship.
After Jae-i was chosen as a model for the children’s handmade shoe brand AGNEAU, Park and the company teamed up on the MOU. Park said, \"Raising Jae-i made me more aware of the kids around us. It’s a small gesture, but for Children’s Day we wanted to give a little gift to children who need pretty shoes. Above all, I’m grateful to AGNEAU for proposing such a meaningful project.\"
Park and Jae-i signed a partnership with the Jusarang Community (Baby Box) to make this donation more than a one-time effort and to expand support in various ways. They’ve named the initiative the \"Jae-i Project\" and will continue social-impact activities focused on providing daily necessities for children in need.
AGNEAU said it joined the project out of respect for the value of life and for each child’s dignity. The company concentrated its support on handmade shoes designed with growing children’s foot health and comfort in mind. AGNEAU added that, as before, it plans to work with Park and his daughter to continue donations annually and quarterly through various programs, expanding its role as a responsible brand for children and families.
Park married Kim Da-ye in 2021; she is 23 years his junior. After undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF), they welcomed daughter Jae-i in October 2024. Reports say Jae-i had filmed 18 commercials by the time she was 18 months old, drawing public attention.
