[MyDaily = Reporter Dayun Kang] Actress So Yoo-jin, 45, took her kids to Yeondon, the buzzy tonkatsu spot in Jeju.
On May 6, she shared a photo on her account with the hashtag #YeondonCheeseTonkatsu.
The photos show a pork cutlet oozing with gooey cheese. Thick strands of cheese spill from the crisp, golden cross-section, making it look irresistible. The meal was served with shredded cabbage salad, rice, soup, kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), and pickled radish — the full comfort-food spread. One image even captured a Pokémon Go screen with a 'Yeondon' PokéStop, which adds a playful little moment to the post.
Yeondon became famous after appearing on SBS's Baek Jong-won's Alley Restaurant. Because So Yoo-jin is married to celebrity restaurateur and TV chef Baek Jong-won (60), her stop at the popular spot naturally drew extra attention.
So Yoo-jin married Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, in 2013. The couple has one son and two daughters.
