Disney Theatrical Group’s global hit drew intense interest with the announcement of its Korean premiere and cast. The production team conducted an extensive audition process, selecting performers based on their ability to embody the characters and the music, their internal and external fit, and the chemistry among the cast.

Adrian Shaple, the co-director who led the auditions, said, “Above all, the true chemistry between Elsa and Anna is what matters. That relationship is the heart of Frozen. Korean actors have an instinctive talent for delivering a story convincingly, and they’ve brought that core to life.”

Sebastian de Domenico, the collaborating music supervisor, added, “Each actor interpreted elements of Frozen superbly in their own style. I was particularly impressed by the unique vocal aesthetic that Korean performers bring to the piece.”

Jung Sun‑ah, Jung Yoo‑ji and Min Kyung‑ah will portray Elsa as a woman who fears her own power yet restrains it to protect those she loves. Park Jin‑joo, Hong Geum‑bi and Choi Ji‑hye will play Anna, whose buoyant, affectionate energy drives the narrative.

Cha Yun‑hae and Shin Jae‑beom will take the stage as Kristoff, a gruff but steadfast companion to Anna. Kim Won‑bin and Hwang Geon‑ha will play Hans, the man who wins Anna’s heart.

The actors playing Olaf—Jung Won‑young, Han Kyu‑jung and Lee Chang‑ho—will combine singing, acting and puppet movement. Im Jin‑woong and Jung Yeol‑i will appear as the Duke of Weselton, and Kim Si‑young and Kim Hyung‑jun will portray Sven the reindeer.

The musical Frozen is a stage adaptation of the hit film of the same name.

With music by Kristen Anderson‑Lopez and Robert Lopez, a book by Jennifer Lee, and integrated set and costume design, choreography and special effects, the production recreates key moments onstage — from Arendelle to Elsa’s ice palace.
