Namyangju City announced on April 21 that, from June through November, it will offer a youth-focused culture and wellness program in partnership with Hyundai Premium Outlet Space One.
The initiative builds on a memorandum of understanding the city signed with Hyundai Premium Outlet Space One in September 2024.
The goal is to leverage strong local corporate resources to provide young residents with higher-quality leisure and cultural opportunities.
Last year, Namyangju ran 12 diverse sessions — including flower-box workshops, pop-art classes and rice-cake (tteok) cake-making — which drew 107 young participants and strong interest.
The city plans to continue supporting youth cultural programs throughout 2026 without interruption.
The programs will run twice a month for a total of 12 sessions, serving roughly 120 local young people ages 19 to 39.
A Namyangju official called the project a model of public-private cooperation that benefits both the community and local businesses, and expressed deep gratitude to Hyundai Premium Outlet Space One for generously providing space and programming for local youth.
The official added that the city will continue offering practical support to improve young residents’ quality of life.
Registration opens monthly beginning in May. Check the Namyangju City website and the city’s official youth social media channels for the schedule and to sign up.
