Parata Air announced on the 16th that it will begin flights on the Incheon–Sapporo (New Chitose) route starting July 6. The carrier will operate the route seven times a week using an Airbus A330.
The outbound departs Incheon International Airport at 11:10 a.m. and arrives at Sapporo New Chitose Airport at 1:45 p.m. local time. The return flight leaves at 3:05 p.m. and lands in Incheon at 6:10 p.m.
Parata Air has assigned an A330—typically used on medium- and long-haul routes—to this service. Passengers can expect wider seat pitch plus complimentary meals and beverages, delivering a long-haul level of comfort on this short-haul route.
The A330-200 joined Parata Air’s fleet in October last year and offers 260 seats total: 18 Business Smart seats and 242 Comfort-class seats.
A Parata Air spokesperson said, \"Sapporo is a popular route that sees especially high summer demand. With convenient flight times, roomy A330 seating and Parata Air’s signature onboard service, we want customers to enjoy a more comfortable, relaxed trip to Hokkaido.\"
