[MyDaily = Reporter Bang Geum-suk] Paradise announced on March 10 that it has opened the Hyatt Regency Incheon Paradise City on Yeongjong Island, Incheon.

The hotel, a rebrand of the former Grand Hyatt Incheon West Tower, is positioned to capture both airport-area lodging demand and guests visiting the adjacent resort and entertainment complex.

It offers 501 rooms, including 34 suites, and features a pool, sauna and spa, plus 12 banquet halls and meeting rooms—designed to welcome both families and business travelers.

The hotel is a five-minute walk from the Paradise City resort complex on Yeongjong Island, giving guests easy access to the complex’s entertainment and cultural offerings, including the Cimer spa and the indoor theme park Wonderbox.

Earlier, Paradise Segasami, the joint venture between Paradise and Sega Sammy Holdings, acquired the property from KAL Hotel Network, an affiliate of the Hanjin Group, for about 210 billion KRW (approximately 157.5 million USD) and completed a remodeling.

With this opening, Paradise City’s total room count rises to 1,270, which the company expects will help attract more resort visitors and casino patrons.

The hotel will operate several F&B venues—including Market Cafe, the Swell Lounge, outdoor dining Pool House and the sky lounge Regency Club—to meet a variety of guest preferences.

Sitting about a 3–5 minute drive from Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 and roughly 15–20 minutes from Terminal 2, the property is well placed to capture short-stay and transit travelers.

A Hyatt Regency Incheon representative said, “Hyatt Regency Incheon will offer a more convenient, accessible lodging option that improves access to Paradise City,” adding, “Rather than existing as an independent destination, it will act as a connector and further strengthen Incheon’s role as a global gateway.”
