Virtual act Isekai Idol, SAYMYNAME, fromis_9, Kim Se-jeong, Girls' Generation, IVE, Red Velvet, NiziU, Sunmi and Suzy were named March winners in TenAsia’s Artist Top Ten — K-pop Girl Brand category.

From March 9 to 22, TenAsia ran a global vote across three categories on its March polling service: K-POP BOY BRAND, K-POP GIRL BRAND and HOT GENRE BRAND.

TenAsia’s Artist Top Ten highlights the most talked-about domestic artists each month. Male and female idol groups, along with artists from genre categories (indie, mixed groups, ballads, etc.), compete for the top spot in their field.

Virtual group Isekai Idol took first place in the K-pop Girl Brand category. The six-member act was formed through an audition organized by streamer Uwakkud and debuted on Dec. 17, 2021. Last month they became the first virtual idol act to win the Post Generation Award at the Hanteo Music Awards.

SAYMYNAME finished second. In February they sold out the “2026 SAY MY NAME Asia Tour Fan Concert ATTI GIRL in SEOUL” at the main auditorium of Sungshin Women’s University in Gangbuk-gu. Their recent single “UFO (ATTENT!ON)” from the &Our Vibe EP notched their first No. 1 on terrestrial music programs and more than doubled first-week sales compared with their previous release, signaling strong momentum.

fromis_9 placed third. Their agency, Ascend, said they will release a Japanese debut EP, Like You Better (Japanese version), on the 1st and begin promotions in Japan. The EP will include Japanese versions of “Like You Better” and “Love=Disaster” from last year’s sixth mini-album From Our Twenties. Fromis_9 will also meet local fans during the “2025–26 Fromis_9 World Tour Encore: Now Tomorrow. in Tokyo” on the 28th.

They were followed in the rankings by Kim Se-jeong, Girls' Generation, IVE, Red Velvet, NiziU, Sunmi and Suzy.

The rankings for Isekai Idol, SAYMYNAME, fromis_9, Kim Se-jeong, Girls' Generation, IVE, Red Velvet, NiziU, Sunmi and Suzy were determined 100% by votes conducted via the TenAsia app. After each month’s voting period closes, TenAsia tallies fans’ votes and selects the top 10 artists with the highest totals. The voting page also runs a daily check-in event that awards one heart per day.

Nominees for the K-pop Boy Brand and K-pop Girl Brand categories are drawn from the top 20 artists on that month’s Melon chart and the Idol Champ monthly chart. Hot Genre Brand nominees come from the top 20 artists on that month’s Melon chart and the Celeb Champ monthly chart.

Artists who make the Artist Top Ten receive benefits tied to their final ranking, including feature articles, promotion on the TenAsia website and, for the No. 1 artist, automatic inclusion among candidates for the following month.
