Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) revealed the decision about their future during the SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR 'NEW_' ENCORE concert on the afternoon of the 5th at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium in Seo-gu, Incheon.
The moment that stood out came from leader S.Coups. Near the end of the show he reflected, “Looking back on the past 11 years, I questioned whether I had been a good leader to the members,” and then announced, “After deep talks among the members, all 13 of us have decided to renew our contracts. From now on, we’ll row even harder together.”
The stadium erupted. Tens of thousands of fans answered the surprise announcement with thunderous cheers. Only nine members performed onstage that day—Woozi and Hoshi were absent due to military service—while Jeonghan and Wonwoo, who are also serving but were on leave, watched from the audience, adding extra weight to the moment.
The decision to renew as a full group underscored how Seventeen’s bond goes beyond a business relationship; it reads more like family.
