[EPN Enpinow reporter Go Nari] — Choi Rip-woo and Kang Woo-jin are set to make their official debut as a duo.
FNC Entertainment announced on March 10 that, after in-depth discussions, the two artists have agreed to debut together. The agency said it is crafting polished music and staged performances aimed at meeting the expectations of longtime supporters.
The pair first rose to prominence on Boys Planet 2, which concluded in September last year. They were widely noted for their technical ability, steady teamwork and strong visuals, earning enthusiastic praise throughout the competition.
Their collaboration has continued since the show ended: they have filmed branded content together, appeared on radio and attended each other’s fan meetings, underscoring a close friendship. Most recently, they have been engaging listeners as March DJs on MBC FM4U’s "Chinhan Chingu Bangsongban" (Close Friends Broadcasting Club).
The duo is accelerating preparations for a May debut. The agency said it will reveal the team name and specific rollout plans in stages.
