MOU to Supply Tires for Used Cars and Elevate Merchandising Quality
Major brand products to be fitted on merchandised vehicles
Hankook Tire & Technology will supply its key tire lines to HeyDealer's certified used cars.
Hankook said on the 17th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the 16th with certified used-car service HeyDealer at HeyDealer TechBay in Seo‑gu, Incheon, to provide tires for used vehicles and raise merchandising quality.
Under the agreement, HeyDealer TechBay will install Hankook's major products on vehicles that require tire replacement during the merchandising process. The lineup includes iON—the world's first full-line electric-vehicle tire brand—Ventus, the company's flagship tire series, and Dynapro, its SUV-focused tire range.
Hankook said the products, developed under Chairman Cho Hyun‑bum's technology-driven innovation effort and recognized globally for top-tier engineering and premium brand value, will help improve vehicle driving performance. The company also expects the move to bolster consumer trust and transparency, key values in the used-car market.
Hankook plans to work closely with HeyDealer across the used-car merchandising process to establish consistent, high-quality procedures that consumers can rely on.
