Wi Ha-joon and Park Min-young — each pursuing the identity of a mysterious figure in their own way — unexpectedly cross paths, triggering a tense standoff that exposes complicated emotions.

Episode 10 of tvN's Siren, directed by Kim Cheol-gyu and written by Lee Young, aired at 8:50 p.m. on the 31st. The episode follows Han Seol-ah (Park Min-young) and Cha Woo-seok (Wi Ha-joon) as they cross paths while tracking Joo Hyun-soo (Park Ji-an).

Han Seol-ah suddenly spots Joo Hyun-soo’s car and freezes. When he heads into a building, she moves quickly to avoid colliding with Cha, who is nearby. She drags him toward the emergency stairs to stay out of Joo’s sight at the elevator and, fearing his cover would be blown, muffs his mouth with her hand — defusing what could have been an explosive moment.

Only after confirming Joo has left does Han release Cha and try to slip away. Unaware of what just happened, Cha follows her and demands to know why she’s there.

Han snaps, “Then what are you doing here, Cha Woo-seok?” Cha presses her, asking whether the man he just saw was Joo Hyun-soo — the person he holds responsible for his sister’s death — and why Han was trailing a murder suspect. Han draws a firm line: “I wasn’t following that man.” She explains her real objective was to investigate Chairman Kim’s hidden real-estate holdings.

Seeing Joo at a building owned by Chairman Kim, Cha suspects a corrupt connection between the two. Han cautions that it’s only conjecture for now and warns him not to jump to conclusions. Even after Cha suggests they talk more deeply, Han replies, “I have nothing more to say,” makes clear she’s shared all she knows, and turns away.

Before she can leave, Cha stops her and, sounding more concerned than investigative, asks, “Are you okay? Are you eating properly?” Han hesitates, then offers a brief, “You should take care of yourself too, Cha Woo-seok,” before walking off — a sharp, human moment that resonated with viewers.
