Byun Woo-seok and IU are facing a marriage crisis.
In the April 10 broadcast of MBC's 21st Century Great Madam, Yoon Yi-rang (portrayed by Gong Seung-yeon) pays a visit to Grand Prince Ian (portrayed by Byun Woo-seok).
Yoon Yi-rang warns Grand Prince Ian that Lee Yun (played by Kim Eun-ho) is being sidelined and urges him to marry the woman she has chosen to show his support for both her and Lee Yun. Meanwhile, Seong Hee-joo (played by IU) erupts after being pressured to wed the CEO of a subsidiary.
At that moment, Seong Tae-ju (played by Lee Jae-won) and Han Da-young (played by Chae Seo-an) arrive. After Han Da-young suggests that arranged marriages invite extra scrutiny, Seong Hee-joo snaps and then tells Seong Hyun-guk (played by Jo Seung-yeon), \"It won't go the way my father wants,\" before storming out.
Meanwhile, Grand Prince Ian shrugs off concerns about the match, saying, \"There's nothing we can't do.\" Upset by the marriage plans, Seong Hee-joo lashes out at her staff and leaves the meeting scowling.
