Episode 6 of MBC’s Friday–Saturday drama In Your Brilliant Season (hereafter Your Brilliant Season) airs at 9:50 p.m. on the 13th. The installment puts the planned collaboration between Nana Atelier and Can Animation Studio at risk.
Earlier, Song Ha-ran (Lee Sung-kyung) had been looking forward to a pizza date with Seon Woo-chan (Chae Jong-hyeop) after his business trip to Gyeongju. During the 10 days they spent apart, the couple shared their daily lives, and Ha-ran began trying, one by one, the “how to live joyfully” tasks Chan had given her. But when Seon Woo-chan abruptly flies to the U.S. while on his way back to Seoul, their plans are upended.

Determined, Ha-ran resolves to try the “wish list” Chan had written—even if she has to do it on her own. But his absence hits harder than she expected, and her emotions begin to falter. Suddenly, Ha-ran disappears without warning, leaving everyone stunned. Viewers will be watching to learn why she vanished and what happened to her.
The Nana Atelier design team is similarly shaken by Seon Woo-chan’s abrupt absence. Insisting he wouldn’t leave like this, they cling to hope he’ll return, while Yeon Tae-seok (Kwon Hyuk) warns the collaboration could fall through, raising the stakes. All eyes are on whether Seon Woo-chan can come back safely and keep his promise to Ha-ran.
Questions remain about why he chose to fly to the U.S. without a word, before completing the three-month “trial neighbor” period. With a newly revealed “one-inch memory” having prompted confusing changes for him, viewers will be looking for any connection between that memory and his sudden decision.
