Harper's Bazaar Korea has unveiled a photo shoot pairing BLACKPINK’s Jisoo with Tommy Hilfiger. Since being named the brand’s global ambassador for its Fall 2024 campaign, Jisoo has continued to reinterpret Tommy Hilfiger’s aesthetic on her own terms while engaging in a variety of projects.

The shoot, titled "Perfect Day," artfully merges two concepts: a spring collection staged in a sunlit mansion and a laid-back summer collection on a sandy beach. Jisoo anchors the spread with her signature blend of poise and ease, appearing to savor a slow afternoon. Her nuanced expressions capture the season’s warmth and deepen the sensory resonance of the “Perfect Day” theme.

opened up in an interview about the moments that have defined her across different roles — as a member of BLACKPINK, a solo artist, and an actress. Asked about playing Mirae in the recently released series Monthly Boyfriend, she said, "It was the first time I played someone who felt like they could exist in real life. By listening to the worries of friends my age, I found myself empathizing with Mirae. Imagining what advice I’d give her if she were my friend helped me focus more." Her remarks made clear the affection she feels for the role. Jisoo has previously faced criticism for her performances in leading roles such as Newtopia and Monthly Boyfriend.

Asked how completing BLACKPINK’s world tour changed the group, she noted, "We’ve always been friends with strong personalities, so our individual identities remain intact. It wasn’t that we changed — the stage simply felt renewed. After releasing albums that highlight each member’s distinct color, every performance came together to create a richer spectacle."

Reflecting on the one year since launching her solo career, she said, "Having people connect with songs I love was a deeply rewarding experience as a musician. It taught me that fear of a new challenge can’t be an excuse to stop — that’s different from believing you can do anything. I think you could call that growth."

The cover featuring Jisoo and Tommy Hilfiger appears in Harper’s Bazaar Korea’s special edition. Additional digital content is available on the magazine’s website, Instagram, and YouTube.
