LF CEO Kim Sang-gyun and Andar CEO Gong Seong-a took home the top honor — the Presidential Citation — at this year’s Korea Fashion Awards.

On the 3rd, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Fashion Association hosted the 2025 Korea Fashion Awards at the Textile Center in Samseong-dong, Seoul, honoring 13 individuals for their contributions to the fashion and garment industries.
Kim was recognized for strengthening K-fashion’s global competitiveness, while Gong was honored for elevating the profile of the K-athleisure category (everyday activewear).
They also presented awards to four emerging designers who impressed in the K-Fashion Audition contest.
The coveted grand prize — the Presidential Award — went to Kwon Bong-seok, CEO of BLR, whose brand’s distinctive identity and global growth potential helped him prevail against a 101-to-1 competitive field.
The ministry plans to give all finalists access to next year’s brand support program and to provide business vouchers totaling 82 million KRW (about $61,500).
Park Dong-il, director of the ministry’s Industrial Policy Office, said, "We will provide multifaceted support to help our textile technologies and design strengths, along with the rising global interest in K-fashion, translate into broader access to international markets."
