Hyungji Elite announced on the 31st that it successfully wrapped up its school-uniform runway show at Shanghai Fashion Week on the 28th.

The appearance was Hyungji Global’s first major move after an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on the 13th, where the company changed its name to take the lead in expanding the group’s global business.

Hyungji Global says it will accelerate Hyungji Elite’s growth in China’s student-uniform market and push its premium-uniform business further into Southeast Asia, with Vietnam and Indonesia top of the list.

Shanghai Fashion Week (SFW), where Hyungji Elite showcased its collection, is counted among the world’s top five fashion weeks and is widely regarded as Asia’s most influential fashion event. Observers praised Hyungji Elite for putting on a polished, high-caliber show that reflects its rising status in the Chinese market.

On the runway, Hyungji Elite presented a wide range of new pieces under the theme “Reconstructing Campus Fashion through Functional Aesthetics,” emphasizing fabrics with enhanced water resistance, antibacterial properties, and other practical features.

Recognizing growing eco-consciousness among both parents and students in China, the company also rolled out school uniforms made from environmentally friendly materials.

Hyungji Elite plans to leverage its Fashion Week exposure to showcase its product strengths, and with Hyungji Global’s backing on overseas distribution and supply, speed up expansion not only in China but across ASEAN markets.

A Hyungji Elite spokesperson said, “The show solidified our position as a leading premium school-uniform brand in China, and we expect it to translate into real orders. Through synergies with Hyungji Global, we will continue to grow our presence in China and deepen our push into the ASEAN premium school-uniform market.”
