CJ OnStyle announced on Feb. 24 that it will hold the industry's first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Fashion Showcase through March 3 for the 2025 spring/summer (SS) season.
The fashion showcase is where CJ OnStyle debuts the season’s trendiest looks first. This year, the company created an AI-powered virtual runway to deliver a more vivid, varied style curation experience.
The showcase is set in Paris and New York. CJ OnStyle recreated AI models strutting virtual runways in the heart of both cities, and even digitally rendered the guests watching the shows. Viewers tuning in on mobile and TV can feel like they’re at the live shows, watching the AI models’ catwalks up close.
CJ OnStyle predicts that elegant, sophisticated lace and tweed will be in the spotlight this spring. The look takes inspiration from the Castle core trend, which borrows elements from medieval styles. In the showcase, AI models will present full outfits featuring new pieces like Karl Lagerfeld lace skirts and The Edge Sherbet tweed jackets.
Under the theme Styling Tips to Complete Spring, the showcase offers warm spring looks in this year’s color, Mocha Mousse, as well as casual spring-outing outfits curated from various brands. On mobile, viewers can also watch AI virtual fitting videos from contemporary brand The Edge; premium fashion label Karl Lagerfeld; premium knit brand The Berrie; and casual brand Guess.
Timed with Fashion Week, the event will also feature celebrity styling picks. Shoppers can explore brands highlighted on Han Ye-seul’s What Should I Wear Today?, such as Dunst and Construction, alongside labels like Ink and Barneys New York.
A CJ OnStyle spokesperson said, “Starting with the AI Fashion Showcase, we plan to expand distinctive, AI-powered broadcast content to give customers a fresh shopping experience. We hope viewers will feel like guests at the Paris and New York shows and preview this spring’s curation.”
