Beaker, the fashion arm of Samsung C&T (028260), announced on the 31st that it will launch a denim-focused label called Stitch Comes Blue.
Calling itself the "Culture Blending Union," Beaker curates global brands, trends, and cultural moments through a distinct point of view.
Since its 2012 debut, the company has spent over a decade experimenting and carving out a unique identity, establishing itself as one of Korea’s leading select shops.
To keep growing and give customers more choices, Beaker plans to strengthen its private-label lineup in addition to continuing to buy domestic and international brands.
Following Beaker Original—its contemporary everyday line—this year the company will introduce Stitch Comes Blue, a denim-focused brand launched in response to rising consumer interest in denim.
The name blends "Stitch," which evokes careful garment-making, with "Blue," the color most associated with denim. Stitch Comes Blue aims to honor denim’s traditions while constantly experimenting to offer customers in their 30s varied denim experiences.
The brand centers on original pieces from a denim-obsessed designer, premium fabrics developed by top mills in Japan and Italy, and meticulous washes and detailing. Its focus is craftsmanship that goes beyond comfy jeans to deliver more sensory, experimental styles.
For its debut spring/summer 2025 season, Stitch Comes Blue will roll out 36 denim pants for men and women that highlight distinctive fits. Expect curved, straight, wide, flare, baggy, and jogger silhouettes, in a nuanced range of blues plus black, ivory, navy, gray, and beige.
In fall/winter 2025, the brand plans to expand into coordinated outerwear, shirts, and tees designed to pair with its denim.
Stitch Comes Blue will be available at Beaker’s Hannam, Cheongdam, and Seongsu flagship stores, across Beaker locations in department stores and malls nationwide, and on Samsung C&T’s fashion and lifestyle online mall, SSF Shop.
Beaker will also host a launch pop-up at its Cheongdam flagship store from April 3 to 23.
Lee Sang-woo, group head of Beaker’s Original division, said, "We launched Stitch Comes Blue after seeing growing customer interest in denim and the market’s potential. We’ll introduce the brand at our key Beaker stores and online via SSF Shop to get the word out to customers."
