This marks the brand’s second brick-and-mortar location after its 2024 debut at Galleria Department Store. LF strategically chose the premium Shinsegae Gangnam spot to broaden customer touchpoints and boost brand recognition.
Forte_forte, carried in fashion capitals like Milan, Paris and Tokyo, is known for designs that put materiality and meticulous detailing first. As shoppers shift away from logo-driven buying toward craftsmanship and quality fabrics, the brand has been growing its presence in Korea.
The shop takes up about 10 pyeong (roughly 356 sq ft) in the designer brand zone on Shinsegae Gangnam’s 4th floor. LF collaborated with brand art director Robert Battilana to shape a space meant for lingering—think a relaxed, immersive shopping experience.
On offer are signature pieces that highlight embroidery and fabric details, including wool tweed blousons, cotton-and-silk voile shirts, and muslin sets. LF also rolled out a capsule collection in collaboration with Japanese footwear brand Suicoke.
Forte_forte reportedly posted double-digit growth in Korea last year. Its core audience is 20- and 30-somethings who prioritize materials and finish; embroidered blouses, lightweight transitional outerwear and knitwear have been steady sellers.
LF plans to use the new store to deepen brand experiences, focusing on premium customers.
“As consumers increasingly prioritize materials and craftsmanship, demand for the brand is rising,” an LF representative said. “We will continue expanding our foundation for growth in the domestic market.”
