[Sports Seoul | Reporter Wi Su-jeong] French high-jewelry house Boucheron has introduced the Quatre XS, a mini reinterpretation of its iconic Quatre collection — a fresh evolution for the line.

The new piece trims the silhouette even further than the previous small size, but it still delivers Quatre’s four signature design codes in full. Quatre, which distills Boucheron’s history and technical know-how, becomes a single ring after each band is crafted individually and assembled with nanomillimeter-level precision. The distinctive “click” the four bands make when artisans press them together by hand is a hallmark of Boucheron’s refined craftsmanship.

The collection’s four codes preserve the house’s heritage: Double Godron, symbolizing eternal love; Clou de Paris, calling to mind the cobblestones of Place Vendôme; finely mirror-set Diamond; and Grosgrain, a nod to the maison’s couture origins. The new lineup also includes a Quatre Black Edition small bangle for those who want to make a bolder statement.

Boucheron’s global campaign, "Quatre is Getting Mini," stars the house’s global ambassador, actress Han So-hee. Alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones and Dylan Deniz, Han So-hee showcases chic, artful layering with the Quatre XS. The campaign underscores that size isn’t a measure of power and celebrates the freedom to style across scales.

Founded in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron, Boucheron was the first jewelry house to open on Place Vendôme. Now part of the Kering luxury group, it operates more than 90 boutiques worldwide. wsj0114@sportsseoul.com
