(The CEN News / Reporter Park Seo-young) E-Land World, the company behind New Balance, announced the launch of its "Love Is the Real Classic" campaign centered on the 204L series on March 26.
The campaign features wedding-style photo spreads that spotlight everyday couples. Instead of professional models, it captures candid, intimate moments between partners.
About 650 couples responded to the pre-campaign call for stories, demonstrating strong interest. The chosen pairs posed for shoots that framed meaningful vow-like moments, each styled with the 204L sneakers.
The 204L is a low-profile sneaker that modernizes archival running styles from the 1970s and the 2000s. It blends New Balance’s signature design cues with a slim silhouette and technical materials for a refined, wearable look.

The campaign showcases two colorways: the U204LMMA (brown) and the U204LMMC (ivory).
Notably, the U204LMMA, which sold out shortly after its initial release, is being restocked to coincide with the campaign.
From March 26 through April 2, E-Land New Balance is also running a social media giveaway, offering 204L pairs to everyday couples who participate.
An E-Land New Balance spokesperson said, "We wanted to capture the 204L's distinct mood within the most classic emotion—love. We hope shoppers try the newly restocked color they've been waiting for and discover how versatile the 204L can be."
The campaign imagery and the 204L line became available for purchase on March 26 at 11 a.m. via New Balance’s official website and at major company-owned stores, including Myeongdong, Uijeongbu, Sinchon, Dongseong-ro, and Seongsu.
