DJ-producer TPA and WAYD released their collaborative single "Passo Bem Solto" on the 17th.
The track blends Brazilian funk rhythms with EDM, using Portuguese vocal samples to evoke Brazil’s distinctive atmosphere while retaining the electronic textures both producers favor.
Released through OOC Records, "Passo Bem Solto" arrives amid a global surge of Brazilian-funk–influenced electronic music and a wave of cross-genre experimentation.
TPA said, "I really enjoyed mixing my own sound into the Brazilian music I listen to. Going forward, I want to reinterpret sounds from different countries in my own style."
WAYD said, "I've long been interested in Brazilian EDM styles and have tried various approaches. This project let me express Brazil's unique linguistic feel and genre appeal in a new way, which was meaningful."
