[RealFood=Reporter Yook Seong-yeon] Ourhome announced on April 17 that it will launch a new product, "Ourhome Gatseokbakji," exclusively at Costco.Reflecting the multi-benefit trend—where one product delivers multiple perks—this new release blends seokbakji (mixed radish kimchi) with gatkimchi (mustard-greens kimchi) for a flavorful mashup.
Gatseokbakji is made with domestically grown seasonal mustard greens, radish, gochugaru (Korean red pepper powder), and ginger. The ingredients are trimmed into bite-sized pieces so you can enjoy it straight from the package without any extra cooking.
The product will be sold at 19 Costco locations nationwide, excluding the Yangpyeong store. To celebrate the launch, Ourhome will host tasting events from April 30 through May 3.
"We focused on combining seokbakji and gatkimchi in just the right proportions to achieve a balanced flavor," an Ourhome spokesperson said. "Leveraging this differentiated product, we plan to expand our presence in the kimchi market."
