[JoyNews24 reporter Jung So-hee] Trot singer Kang Seol-min served as a promotional ambassador and posed on April 25 at the 13th Hope-Finding Hiking & Trekking Class held at Mannam Square in Uidong, in Seoul’s Gangbuk District. The event also featured veteran mountaineer Oh Eun-sun.
This year’s trek followed the "Hope Together" theme, pairing plogging — picking up trash while walking — with fundraising. Organizers pledged a set donation for each finisher: the more people who completed the course, the larger the total contribution.
The route took participants along the azalea ridge of Mount Bukhansan, starting at Mannam Square in Uidong, continuing along the ridge and reaching the turnaround point at Daedongmun.
