The event drew roughly 200 participants representing about 150 companies and organizations — from domestic and international corporations to global online travel agencies (OTAs), tourism startups, and small businesses. It served as a forum to uncover new tourism content across the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region and strengthen public-private partnerships.

During the Collaboration Proposals session, Haman County outlined plans to develop global tourism products tied to the major K‑pop and cultural event "2026 MyK Festa," scheduled for July.

In its pitch, the county proposed several business models built around partnerships between Haman Nakwhanori and global OTAs and corporations. Ideas included linking cross‑regional travel routes, co‑promotions with major retailers and SPA brands, new food and beverage experiences, and packaged tourism deals that bundle hotels, transportation, and lodging. The proposals attracted keen interest from attending companies.

Officials emphasized evolving Haman Nakwhanori from a performance you watch into an immersive, stay‑oriented experience that blends hands‑on participation and local consumption. They focused on strategies to attract international visitors by connecting the festival with global platforms.

At on‑site business meetings, county representatives explored concrete partnership opportunities with OTAs, retailers, and tourism operators, laying the groundwork for future product development and joint marketing campaigns.

"We will work with leading companies to boost international arrivals, promote stay‑focused tourism, and drive local economic growth," said Kim Mi‑hwa, a Haman County official.

Haman Nakwhanori has recently been highlighted at the President‑led 2026 National Tourism Strategy Meeting as a standout attraction that can help spread inbound tourism beyond Seoul. It was also selected through a competitive process for the 2026 Major Hallyu Comprehensive Event, earning recognition as a nationally significant tourism asset with global potential.
