T'way Air said on the 12th that it will run an 'Our Neighborhood Discount' promotion for travelers departing regional airports through the 23rd.
The promotion is available on the airline's official website and mobile app (web) and applies to domestic and international routes departing from Busan, Daegu, Cheongju, Jeju and Gwangju. Travel periods run through Oct. 24 and vary by route.
When booking, passengers can pick up a special discount coupon on the event page. For international flights: spend 250,000 KRW (about $188) and get up to 20,000 KRW off (about $15). For domestic flights: spend 150,000 KRW (about $113) and get up to 5,000 KRW off (about $4).
T'way Air also offers a range of member benefits, including a welcome coupon pack for new website sign-ups, waived ticketing fees, alerts for special fares and members-only discount codes.
At its recent regular shareholders' meeting, the airline won approval to amend its articles of incorporation and plans to change its corporate name to Trinity Airways Co., Ltd., the company said on the 31st.
A T'way Air spokesperson said, “These perks are designed to help customers who use regional airports plan trips at more affordable prices. We will continue to make safety our top priority while working to provide more convenient travel.”
