Seosan City is shaking things up with an exciting expansion of its city tour routes, giving visitors a smorgasbord of options to explore this hidden gem.
On March 9th, Seosan City unveiled its revamped city tour program, transforming the previous two-zone system into three distinct routes: A, B, and C. The cherry on top? A brand-new eco-friendly, interactive resource recovery facility that opened its doors last December is now part of the tour.
Picture this: You're on a comfy bus with a knowledgeable cultural guide, ready to dive into Seosan's hottest spots. And here's the kicker – you get to check out the resource recovery facility's observation deck for free. Talk about a win-win!
Route A is a culture vulture's dream, linking the awe-inspiring Yonghyeon-ri rock-carved Buddha triad, the picturesque Yeomio-mi, the mouthwatering Seosan Hanwoo Ranch Road, the serene Gaesimsa Temple, and the historically rich Haemi International Holy Site. Route B is perfect for those who want a taste of everything, from the golden vistas of Hwanggeumsan to the bustling Dongbu Traditional Market, with stops at Samgilpo Port, the An Gyeon Memorial Hall, and the resource recovery facility. Nature lovers, Route C has your name on it, featuring Seosan Birdland, the stunning Ganwoldo island, the majestic Seosan Haemi Fortress, plus the resource recovery facility and Dongbu Traditional Market.
But wait, there's more! From April to July, Seosan City is rolling out a special history and culture tour just for elementary school kiddos. This educational adventure includes stops at the rock-carved Buddha triad, Gaesimsa Temple, Seosan Haemi Fortress, Haemi International Holy Site, and the mind-blowing Ryu Bang-taek Astronomical and Meteorological Science Museum.
City officials are going all out, combining the resource recovery facility tour with local history and culture experiences. It's not just a fun day out – it's a chance to learn about recycling and environmental protection. They're so committed to this idea that they even gave cultural tourism guides a sneak peek of the facility back in January.
Ready to jump on board? The new and improved Seosan city tour has been up and running since March 1st. For all the juicy details and booking info, just hop onto Seosan City's website or their cultural tourism page.
Eunjeong Oh, the mastermind behind Seosan City's Tourism Division, couldn't contain her excitement: "With this expanded city tour, we're showcasing Seosan's charm in ways you've never seen before. We're particularly thrilled about the resource recovery facility – it's set to be a quirky, must-see spot for tourists and an awesome hands-on classroom for our younger visitors. It's all about making learning fun and unforgettable!"
