Shinsegae Simon is boosting infrastructure to make its outlets easier and more convenient for international visitors to reach.
On the 10th, the company announced that after launching a Yeoju Premium Outlets one-day tour in April last year, it has partnered this month with inbound travel specialist WonderTrip to introduce a new Paju Premium Outlets one-day tour.
The Paju tour leaves in the morning from Myeong-dong and Hongdae—two neighborhoods in northern Seoul popular with foreign tourists—and gives participants roughly six hours at Paju Premium Outlets to shop, eat, and unwind before returning to their starting point. The tour runs twice weekly, on Mondays and Saturdays. Meanwhile, the Yeoju tour’s schedule has been expanded from twice a week to three, now operating on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Bookings are available through global online travel platforms Klook and Trip.com, with more sales channels to be added later. The fare is about 15,000 KRW per person (approximately $11.25). To celebrate the launch, Shinsegae Simon is running a buy-one-get-one promotion and offering passengers premium lounge passes.
“We expanded this one-day tour so international visitors can get to Paju Premium Outlets more easily,” a Shinsegae Simon spokesperson said. “We’ll continue to sharpen our appeal as a mixed tourism destination for shopping, dining, and relaxation—where visitors can enjoy a wide range of K-brands and popular F&B names.”
