Na Young-seok, who gave Lee a “10 out of 10” as a guide, laughed that Lee plans trips entirely his own way. “If this were a travel agency, people would be demanding refunds,” he said. “But I’m terrible with directions and searching for places, so I loved just following him — he was the perfect guide for me.” He also teased, “You’ll spot a different side of Lee — he picks up souvenirs everywhere he goes — so look forward to that.”
Producer Kim Ye-seul praised Lee’s thoughtful selections, from unusual destinations to helpful side notes, while also noting his unexpectedly scatterbrained moments kept the production on its toes and made the trip more dynamic. “Seeing him light up like a kid was amazing,” she said. “He threw himself into the fun so fully that even crew members who weren’t initially interested got swept up.”
