Co-hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the association, the expo carries the slogan "A New Engine for the Marine Economy: Opening a New Horizon for Marine Leisure Tourism." 250 booths will showcase participation from local governments, port authorities, the Korea Fisheries and Coastal Community Office, other major public institutions, and innovative companies from Korea and abroad.
Municipalities will highlight their bespoke marine tourism initiatives, while domestic and international companies will display the latest leisure vessels — from yachts to sport boats — and real-world equipment. The expo will also offer international exchange opportunities, featuring large-scale camping gear that reflects current outdoor trends and a global diving session with Indonesian dive centers taking part.
The programming extends beyond exhibits. There will be academic sessions and an awards ceremony where the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries will honor individuals and organizations that have advanced the marine leisure and tourism sector. Policy forums and idea competitions will explore future industry strategies, and hands-on activities — including marine-safety VR, emergency-escape simulations, and marine-accessory workshops — will keep visitors of all ages engaged.
Admission is free. Visitors who pre-register at the official website (www.mltk.co.kr) can breeze past lines and enter without delay.
