Translation result. Changnyeong County in South Gyeongsang is rolling out a lineup of family-friendly destinations and hands-on programs throughout May, the month dedicated to family time.

Its flagship attraction, Upo Wetland, is the country’s largest inland wetland and a peaceful spring escape where visitors can enjoy diverse ecological scenery. At the Upo Wetland Ecology Center and the Crested Ibis Restoration Center, a free “Ecology (on) Experience Program” runs every Sunday, offering hands-on activities that showcase local ecological resources.

Santokki Song Garden, located nearby, will host a special family event on Children’s Day, May 5. The park features animal encounters and a year-round sledding area, making it especially popular with families who have young kids.

Upo Insect Land is holding a special insect exhibition through May 31, where visitors can observe and interact with various beetles, including rhinoceros and stag beetles.

After exploring the sites, families can enjoy meals made with local farm products at nearby Santokki Bapsang. From May 1–5, visitors who present an admission ticket and receipt can receive a complimentary souvenir.

Round out your trip with a soak at the Bugok Hot Spring tourism zone. Bugok is known for its sulfur spring with a maximum water temperature of 78°C (172.4°F) and remains a steady favorite among family visitors.
