Dragon Pony — the band that sings about youth — is keeping up its momentum.
Dragon Pony released their third EP, RUN RUN RUN, today (the 10th) at 6 p.m. on major streaming platforms. The EP is their first new release in roughly eight months, following last July’s digital single "Jigu Sonyeon" (literally "Earth Boy").
RUN RUN RUN continues the group's imperfect coming-of-age narrative. Faced with a multitude of choices, the four members opt not to overthink and instead follow their instincts. After exploring this theme on the EPs POP UP and Not Out and on the single "Jigu Sonyeon," Dragon Pony returns with another chapter that aims to connect with their generation.

The title track, "Ah, Everything Works Out My Way!," channels a fierce youthful demand to live authentically rather than by society’s rules. A technically nimble, flowing guitar riff hooks the listener from the intro, and the layered instrumental arrangements surge with focused energy to heighten the song’s impact.
The lyrics read like self-directed affirmations, sharpening the track’s core message. Questions such as "Why won't things go my way?" and the move from "Can I not do as I wish?" to "Why not make it my way?" build toward the cathartic cry, "Ah, everything works out my way!" Banner lines like "GO GET IT NOW" and "JUST FORGET IT NOW (empty it all)" cut through the aggressive band sound, underscoring Dragon Pony’s relentless musical forward motion.

RUN RUN RUN also highlights the appeal of Dragon Pony as a self-producing band. Aside from the title track, the EP’s five songs blend a core rock sound with diverse genre touches: the wistful "Palm Lines," the feverish "Zombie," the sobering "Rehearsal" about outcomes that effort alone can’t always change, and the intimate "Hidden Heart," which teases out buried emotions. Having written, composed and arranged every track themselves, Dragon Pony sharpens its musical identity and looks set to win over listeners with high-energy live performances.
