[JoyNews24 reporter Jeong Ji-won] Group &TEAM sold more than 1 million copies on release day of their third Japanese mini-album, 'We on Fire,' marking their third consecutive million-seller.
According to Hanteo Chart on the 22nd, &TEAM's new release 'We on Fire' sold 1,090,261 copies on its release day, the 21st, and topped the daily album chart. That figure makes &TEAM a three-time consecutive million-seller, following the Japanese single 'Go in Blind' and the Korean mini-album 'Back to Life.'
&TEAM previously became the first Japan-based act to record million-seller sales in both Korea and Japan with 'Back to Life' and 'Go in Blind,' respectively.
The group is set to embark on the 2026 &TEAM CONCERT TOUR 'BLAZE THE WAY,' which will stop in 11 cities across Asia. The South Korea dates are July 4–5 at Incheon Inspire Arena. They will perform in a larger venue for fans for the first time in about a year since their June concert in Seoul.
Meanwhile, &TEAM is a nine-member multinational group under HYBE Labels Japan, formed in 2022 through the audition program '&AUDITION - The Howling -.'
Unusual for a Japan-based act, they have demonstrated their momentum by earning million-seller status on both Korean and Japanese album charts.
