MONSTA X's I.M Shares Heartfelt Letter During Military Service: What He Reveals About Training and Missing Fans

[TV Daily reporter Han Seoyul] Monsta X member I.M offered an update from the midst of his military service.

On the 12th, I.M uploaded a handwritten letter to the group's fan platform. He wrote, \"I'm writing this on the morning of Feb. 28, the last day of the month. My third week of training is almost over, and a single sheet of paper won't be enough to cover everything that's happened.\"

He described the training base in Nonsan, saying, \"Nonsan is almost too beautiful to take in at night. That makes me miss you all even more.\" The remark underscored his longing for fans.

Reflecting on military life, I.M admitted that training isn't always easy but said he's doing well. \"Even among recruits who are up to 10 years younger, I'm consistently near the top,\" he wrote, expressing quiet confidence in his performance.

He added that reading fans' letters between drills has become a highlight of his day. \"I love reading them. They let me catch a glimpse of your everyday lives and their little scents — it's romantic. I read every letter you send and try to read them all again,\" he said.

Closing the note, I.M wished his fans well: \"I hope you always stay healthy and happy. Please don't forget about me. I miss and love you more than words can say. Take care.\"

I.M enlisted for active duty on Feb. 9. While serving, he released the single \"IYWO\" last month to comfort fans. He is scheduled to be discharged on Aug. 8, 2027.
