Lotte Cinema said it will combine its exhibition infrastructure with JYP’s artist IP to create new content, launching a comeback campaign with rookie boy group KickFlip as the first act. The collaboration is designed not as a standard promotional push but to fill the entire theater with the artist’s content and deliver an immersive experience for audiences.
From March 25 through April 27, Theater 10 at Lotte Cinema World Tower will be transformed into the "KickFlip Brand Theater" to welcome fans. The branded space will introduce KickFlip’s identity from the theater entrance onward, offering fans a sense of belonging and a deeper level of immersion beyond a typical screening.
Through April 21, KickFlip will appear across Lotte Cinema locations. Nationwide, theaters will show a theater-etiquette video before screenings featuring KickFlip members guiding viewers through house rules. The videos aim to give fans a fresh moment of enjoyment while helping general audiences more easily understand theater etiquette, contributing to a more pleasant viewing culture. In addition, Lotte Cinema will play KickFlip’s new music video on the World Tower lobby’s LED board to amplify comeback excitement.
The initiative also includes an F&B combo designed to appeal to collectors. At Sweet Shops (concession stands) in 30 Lotte Cinema locations nationwide, the chain will launch the "KickFlip Combo," which includes a KickFlip-branded popcorn bag and one previously unreleased cinema-themed photo card (one of three, selected at random). These exclusive, Lotte Cinema–only items are expected to draw fans to theaters.
Starting with KickFlip, Lotte Cinema plans to continue a range of collaborations with other JYP artists. The programs are intended to give fans new offline opportunities to engage with artists while helping theaters secure differentiated content by combining venue infrastructure with strong fandom-based IP.
A Lotte Cinema spokesperson said the KickFlip collaboration will serve as a strong example of how theater spaces can be reimagined. "We hope the time fans spend at Lotte Cinema feels like a gift," the spokesperson added.
