[Sports Today Reporter Lim Si-ryeong] Actor Kim Nam-gil wrapped his 2026 fan meeting "G.I.L" in Seoul to roaring acclaim.

The event took place at KBS Arena on the 28th, where Kim spent an intimate evening with fans.

He kicked off the night to thunderous cheers with a cover of DAY6’s "So I Can Be a Page." Two days before the event he released a new single, "I'm Coming to You," which he premiered live with a full band. He then staged a mini-showcase as a singer—complete with a photo session and a conversation about the new song—that further energized the audience.

In the first segment, "Choosing a Fan Nickname," candidates nominated via a pre-submission on the fan platform fromm were introduced. An on-site vote settled the official nickname as "Yaedeura," a warm term of address roughly equivalent to "hey, guys," which helped create a more intimate atmosphere.

During the "Filmography Talk," Kim organized the characters he’s played under the playful headings "good guy," "bad guy," and "funny guy," keeping the conversation light and engaging. He reenacted several memorable scenes and even attempted an "act cute" challenge, which drew ecstatic reactions from the crowd.

Ahead of the second half, he surprised the audience with an unscheduled sound check, underscoring his affection for fans. He opened Part 2 with covers of Radiohead’s "Creep" and Seo Taiji’s "Heffy End," then presented the "G.I.L To You" segment, gifting selected audience members with personal performances that created unforgettable moments.

Kim maintained momentum throughout, delivering a diverse live set that included "I Love You," "The Earth Circles the Sun Four Times," "Walking Through Memories," "Back To Me," "Hold Me," and "You Were Beautiful." After an encore of "Can't I Love You," he returned for a final encore of "I'm Coming to You," moving through the stage and crowd to deliver a concert-like experience.

Showing abundant appreciation for his supporters, Kim said, "I'm always grateful that you stand by me no matter when or where. I will keep showing you my best so you can feel proud to support and like me as an actor. I'm happy to share this time with you. I hope we stay healthy and make many more memories together. Yaedeura, I love you," a heartfelt message that left the venue visibly moved.

Meanwhile, Kim Nam-gil will hold fan meetings in Osaka and Tokyo on April 17 and 18.
