At 6:00 p.m. on the 8th, TimeBridge (composer Kim Eun-seon) will release a new album titled If Not Now, a Confession I Can't Make. TimeBridge spent more than a year shaping this song as a private, deeply personal gift to mark her older brother Kim Do-hyun’s wedding. The track gently unveils feelings she had kept to herself and is poised to resonate not only with the couple but with anyone hesitating to speak their heart.
A roster of accomplished artists came together to refine the song. Kim Min-gi — a composer behind work for Shin Ye-young, Lee Ye-jun and Shin Yong-jae and known for the poignant duet “On Any Given Day, From Me to You” — lends his voice, using a warm, nuanced delivery to heighten the song’s emotional core. Lyricist Lee Hyo-yeon collaborated with TimeBridge to turn raw sincerity into elegant lyrics. Arranger Moon Jung-wook, who has worked on albums by Ailee, Choi Baek-ho, Hwang Chi-yeul and Sondia and recently served as music director for the drama Carry Seon-jae and Run, crafted the song’s rich, detailed texture, while guitarist Kim Hyung-ju’s performance adds further depth.
The music video is another point of interest: Jeong Seo-jin, a first-year student at Pyeongnae High School, directed and produced the entire film. Jeong built the concept around the idea that love doesn’t change at the moment it is spoken, but at the moment it moves — when action begins, relationships shift. Through this song, TimeBridge offers a heartfelt wish to her brother and niece Tae-hee: that they become each other’s strongest companions and find lasting happiness, revealing her deep affection for family.{vi17}
