[iNews24 reporter Kim Hyo-jin] BTS wrapped a comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul on the 21st and now appears poised to stage shows at Busan’s Asiad Main Stadium on June 12–13.
Yonhap News Agency reported on the 29th that BTS recently secured a rental agreement for Busan’s Asiad Main Stadium.
Previously, BTS also held a Busan concert at the Asiad Main Stadium in October 2022. The venue can accommodate roughly 40,000 to 50,000 spectators.
The group’s team is reportedly also weighing the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium and portions of BEXCO as alternative or supplemental venues.
Because the dates coincide with BTS’s debut anniversary (June 13, 2013), organizers are expected to stage fan-focused side events involving the band and their ARMY.
So far, only the dates have been confirmed; exact venue details and ticketing timelines have not been announced.
Ahead of the concerts, Busan city officials say they will immediately inspect lodging businesses flagged for price gouging and are considering temporarily opening public accommodations, such as youth training centers.
