Incheon city and the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture said on the 23rd that they will kick off the 2026 Yogi Jogi concert series on April 29.

Now entering its third year, the Yogi Jogi concert series brings diverse musical genres into everyday public spaces across the city.

Across its first two seasons the program staged about 400 performances, injecting new energy into neighborhoods throughout the region.

Some 300 groups applied this year; 70 were selected as music ambassadors.

The lineup spans pop, jazz, classical and traditional Korean music, and every concert will be free to the public.

The season opens at noon on April 29 at Incheon Aetul, the public plaza in front of City Hall, with a performance by VNB Music.

VNB Music reimagines film scores and pop songs as warm, emotionally driven jazz and will present a relaxed set suited to pleasant spring weather.

In May, concerts will move to outdoor stages and everyday neighborhood spots — the Civic Hall outdoor stage, Simin Aejip, Guwol-dong Rodeo Street — and even to local libraries, giving residents chances to enjoy music in familiar settings.

Lee Jong-kwan, CEO of the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture, said, “We want to broaden opportunities to enjoy music and make culture part of everyday life in Incheon. With these distinctive ambassadors, we’ll bring musical journeys directly to neighborhoods.”

The foundation also plans to stage 'Yogi Jogi Day' — a special program that drew strong interest last year and gathers ambassadors' performances and varied programs in one place — twice this year, once in the first half and once in the second half.

The next 'Yogi Jogi Day' is scheduled for May 23 at the Incheon Art Platform.
