On the 12th day of the Middle East war, the United States and Israel carried out large-scale airstrikes across Iran, including strikes in Tehran.
Iran has continued launching missile attacks against U.S. bases in neighboring countries.

After U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Heggses warned of intense airstrikes, U.S. and Israeli forces launched a sustained offensive across Iran.
They carried out precision strikes on military facilities, including weapons research sites linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Israel rejected Lebanon’s offer to negotiate and continued airstrikes in southern Lebanon, a Hezbollah stronghold.
Lebanese authorities reported seven fatalities from those strikes.
Accusations emerged that Israeli forces used white phosphorus — referred to in the report as a "weapon of the devil" — but Israel denied the claims, saying it employed only smoke munitions consistent with international law.
Israel added 18 trillion KRW (13.5 billion USD) to its defense budget and finalized a major contract to import 5,000 precision-guided munitions from Boeing Company.

Iran struck back, targeting U.S. facilities and allied infrastructure in neighboring countries.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched missile attacks on the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain and on U.S. bases in Iraq.
Earlier drone strikes on Abu Dhabi disrupted a key production line at the UAE’s largest refinery, which processes about 400,000 barrels per day.
