Israel and Iran exchanged airstrikes this week, shifting from attacks on energy infrastructure to strikes on nuclear sites.
The exchanges have pushed the confrontation to a dangerous level. Israel says its military campaign against Iran is roughly half complete and vows to press on.

Holes pockmark the exterior walls of multiple buildings, leaving interiors exposed.
Another structure collapsed under the blast, leaving shattered debris piled into a huge heap.
On March 21 (local time), Iran fired missiles at Dimona, home to Israel’s nuclear facility, and at the nearby city of Arad.
Israel’s air defenses were repeatedly breached, and more than 30 people in Dimona were wounded or killed.
Roy Kesus, deputy director of Soroka Medical Center, said on March 21: “So far, we have received 35 patients at Soroka Medical Center. Two are in critical condition and were taken to the emergency room.”
Iran said the strikes were retaliation for Israeli attacks targeting its nuclear sites.
Earlier this month, Israel struck Natanz, one of Iran’s primary uranium-enrichment facilities.
Neither side has reported any radiation leaks.
Israel says it will continue to carry out high-intensity strikes against Iran.
Defense Minister Katz said Israel will step up operations in coordination with U.S. forces.
“This week, the intensity of attacks carried out by Israeli forces and the U.S. against Iran’s terrorist regime and infrastructure has significantly increased,” Katz said on March 21.
Chief of Staff Zamir said the military campaign against Iran is about halfway complete and that combat operations will continue for at least another week.
He added that strikes over the past three weeks have degraded Iran’s key defensive capabilities and weakened its military strength.
