[Sports Seoul | Reporter Bae U-geun] Lee Tae-ri's wedding announcement has renewed interest in a past social-media post. A moment that many overlooked at the time now reads like a possible clue to a romantic relationship.
His agency, Y-1 Entertainment, said on the 1st that “Lee Tae-ri will marry a cherished partner this May.” The bride-to-be is a non-celebrity, and the couple plans a private ceremony attended only by family and close friends.
After the announcement, attention turned to a birthday post Lee Tae-ri uploaded last June. He shared photos and a video captioned HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUEEN. Images of him being celebrated in front of a heart-shaped cake and a sash reading QUEEN drew notice.
One frame in the video has drawn particular attention: the silhouette of a long-haired woman reflected in a wine glass. At the time viewers offered no special interpretation, but after the wedding news many now connect the image to moments he shared with a partner.
Lee Tae-ri debuted in 1998 as Jeong-bae on the drama Sunpung Obstetrics and Gynecology and first came to public attention. He has since built a diverse filmography with roles in The Moon Embracing the Sun, Rooftop Prince, The Beauty Inside, Extraordinary You, and other projects.
