Nana (35), born Lim Jin‑ah, the singer-actress and former member of girl group After School, has spoken about being summoned to testify in the trial stemming from a home invasion at her residence.

On the 28th, she shared an Instagram post linking to an article headlined "I didn’t want to face the robber…but Nana will ultimately stand in court," writing that she felt "something is very wrong" and expressing a mix of emotions.

She wrote that she has no choice but to follow the law and that she will "attend court as required." She asked fans not to worry and said she would handle it. Nana vowed to "tell only the facts" and warned the attacker, "I'll see how good your acting really is."

According to the courts, the First Criminal Division of the Namyangju branch of the Uijeongbu District Court has scheduled the third hearing for A, a man in his 30s arrested on charges of robbery and assault, for the 21st of next month. Nana and her mother, who were harmed in the incident, are expected to appear as witnesses.

Nana had previously said she did not want to confront the attacker and indicated she would not appear as a witness. After the court reissued a subpoena, however, she is set to attend.

Prosecutors say A broke into Nana’s home in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, last November while armed. He allegedly threatened and injured Nana and her mother and demanded money. When he encountered Nana’s mother inside the home, he injured her; Nana woke to her mother's screams, fought the attacker alongside her mother, subdued him and called police.

Afterward, A admitted entering the home but denied intending to commit a robbery. He also filed a complaint against Nana, claiming she injured him with a weapon.

Police investigated and concluded Nana's actions amounted to self-defense, deciding not to indict her. Nana has since filed a criminal complaint against A for making a false accusation.
