[Sports Seoul | Reporter Yoon Dong-eon] Academy Award–winning actresses Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway will visit South Korea in April to promote their new film.
On the 28th, Xports News reported that the two stars are scheduled to come to Korea as part of promotional activities for The Devil Wears Prada 2. While in the country, they are slated to appear on tvN’s variety show You Quiz on the Block, where they’ll discuss the film and share behind-the-scenes stories.
The film is set to open on April 29, preceded by a global publicity tour. An official promotional event in South Korea is planned for April 8. This marks Streep’s first visit to South Korea, while Hathaway will be meeting Korean fans again after roughly eight years.
The sequel arrives about 20 years after the 2006 global hit The Devil Wears Prada. It reunites legendary Runway editor Miranda (Meryl Streep) with Andy (Anne Hathaway), who has returned to the industry, and Emily (Emily Blunt), now a luxury-brand executive.
