On March 11, Lee met with Sports Today at a café in Seoul's Jongno district for a wrap interview marking the conclusion of ENA's drama Honor: Their Court (hereafter Honor).
Honor: Their Court is a mystery-thriller that follows three women lawyers who confront a past that resurfaces as a major scandal. Fueled by a taut storyline and strong performances, the series peaked at a 4.7% viewership rating (Nielsen Korea). Lee drew praise for her portrayal of Yoon Ra-young, the public-facing spokesperson for L&J, a firm that represents survivors of sexual assault.
During the interview, she addressed questions about her husband Won Bin, who has been on hiatus from acting since his 2010 film The Man from Nowhere — a 16-year gap.
\"He's reading scripts,\" she said. \"He still thinks about acting and still wants to work. When we watch a good film together, we talk about how nice it would be to do something like that. He keeps yearning to return. I feel a little awkward speaking for him all the time, though.\"
She added that Won Bin read the early portion of the Honor script with her. \"He's an actor, so he understands which parts might be difficult,\" she said. \"He told me, 'That must be tough.'\" They didn't watch the drama together — she said she specifically suggested they watch separately. \"It's like being embarrassed to hear your own voice,\" she laughed. \"He even tried to probe me about later plot points, asking, 'Is this right?' but I didn't say anything.\"
Meanwhile, Honor: Their Court concluded on the 10th.
