In the installment, Kim Dan-hee (Park Jin-hee) bursts into a high-stakes stock transfer taking place between Oh Jung-ran (Kim Hee-jung) and Choi Yoo-na (Cheon Hee-joo), immediately dominating the scene. She intervenes to halt Choi and Oh's attempt to cover up wrongdoing, raising the stakes dramatically.
Kim spots on CCTV that the hoodie worn by the theft suspect matches Choi Yoo-na's. Yoo-na pushes back, citing a video of the accuser's confession, and the two lock into a tense standoff.
Kim and Chloe (Nam Sang-ji) quickly determine the video was doctored. When it comes to light that the accuser confessed under coercion from Oh Jung-ran, the story pivots. To get to the truth, Kim, Chloe and Park Min-jun (Kim Kyung-bo) conclude that protecting the accuser is urgent.

Under mounting pressure from Oh Jung-ran, Yoo-na leaves home carrying her personal seal to complete the stock transfer. Hong Young-sil (Kyung-sook) rushes into the office, chaos erupts, and Kim Dan-hee, arriving shortly after, heightens the urgency.
At the decisive moment—just as the seal is about to be stamped on the power of attorney—Kim Dan-hee rips the document in half and stops the transfer. The scene delivered a pulse-pounding highlight that hooked viewers.
After the broadcast, viewers praised Chloe and Kim Dan-hee's chemistry, reacted to Yoo-na's exposed identity, and noted Oh Jung-ran's commanding presence.
Meanwhile, Red Pearl shifted to a Monday–Thursday schedule this week. Episode 23 recorded a 7.9% viewership rating, fueling expectations it could break the 8% mark.
