[SPOTV News — Kim Won-gyeom] In tvN’s weekend drama How to Become a Building Owner in Korea, stars Ha Jung-woo and Im Soo-jung hatch a risky plan to escape a mounting crisis.
Episode 6 of the series (written by Oh Han-gi, directed by Im Pil-seong), which airs on the 29th, finds Ki Soo-jong (Ha Jung-woo) and Kim Seon (Im Soo-jung) under pressure after being threatened by wanted man Oh Dong-gi (Hyun Bong-sik).
The Episode 5 finale, broadcast on the 28th, ended on a shocking note at the Saeyun Building. Oh Dong-gi — who had been locked in a basement storage room — assaulted Jeon Yang-ja (Kim Geum-soon) after mistaking her for Ki Soo-jong, then fled. Jeon had sneaked in to sabotage the building after Ki refused to sell. The collision of motives and a cascade of linked incidents ramped up the drama’s tension.
Oh Dong-gi is aware of Ki Soo-jong’s kidnapping. To contain the fallout, Ki and Kim decide to release him and record a video in which he pledges to keep their secret. Their plan is to pin the abduction on Oh in exchange for money. Jeon Yang-ja’s unexpected arrival, however, throws their scheme into chaos.
In Episode 6, airing on the 29th, Ki and Kim move with quiet urgency. The pair pull their hats low and carry out a covert operation, heightening the suspense. If the police catch Oh Dong-gi, Ki’s role in the kidnapping could be exposed. Viewers will be left guessing what desperate measures the two cornered protagonists will take.
Oh Dong-gi’s gaunt, newly wanted appearance also draws attention. His presence is a ticking time bomb for Ki and Kim. He threatens to “spill everything” unless he’s paid, and he appears poised to act irrationally. Audiences are watching to see how each character’s forced choices will set off unpredictable consequences.
