[JoyNews24 reporter Park Jin-young] The team behind The Man Who Lives with the King urged fans not to buy or sell scalped tickets for the film's thank-you stage greeting.

On March 11, the producers thanked audiences for their strong interest in the box-office appreciation event, but said they had found evidence of scalped tickets for the March 17 (Tue) stage greeting being offered on social media and resale platforms.

They emphasized that purchasing tickets through unauthorized channels and reselling them above face value undermines a healthy cinema-going culture. The team asked audiences to refrain from buying overpriced tickets and to report any incidents to the consolidated reporting website.

They also said that, to keep screenings on schedule and to ensure safety, there will be no in-seat events during the March 17 (Tue) appreciation stage greeting.

The producers will hold the appreciation stage greeting at Megabox COEX on March 17 to thank audiences in person. The principal cast and crew — Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Ji-tae, Jeon Mi-do, Kim Min, and director Jang Hang-joon — will attend, joined by supporting cast members Lee Jun-hyuk (Mak-dong uncle), Kim Soo-jin (Mak-dong mother), and Park Ji-yoon (Mak-dong-i).

Tickets sold out immediately when pre-sales opened on the 11th, and scalped tickets began appearing on social media and resale sites at tens of times the face value. Showbox urged the public not to participate in ticket scalping.
