Musinsa said on the 26th that it wrapped up the social-impact campaign "Meet Your Dream" (MEET YOUR DREAM) with Amorepacific in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong on the 25th.
The program was designed to give teens hands-on experience related to the careers they hope to pursue, helping them discover their strengths and nurture their dreams through real-world job simulations in fields they care about.
Through the nonprofit Children and Future Foundation, the companies selected 40 middle- and high-school students from schools in Seoul and tasked them with a team mission: create the identity and concept for a fictional brand called MYD. Musinsa merchandisers (MDs) and photographers, together with Amorepacific beauty brand managers (BMs) and makeup artists, participated as mentors to help shape ideas into actual products and a styled photo spread.
In particular, Musinsa and Amorepacific gave students hands-on exposure to fashion and beauty roles—styling, makeup, and photo shoots—at in-person spaces in Seongsu-dong, including Musinsa Store Seongsu@Daerim Warehouse, Musinsa Standard Seongsu, and Amore Seongsu.
Both companies plan to keep expanding their collaboration on social-impact initiatives.
"It was a meaningful opportunity to give future beauty and fashion talent practical experience," an Amorepacific representative said. "We will continue creating diverse opportunities to support youth development."
"As leaders in the fashion and beauty industries, we found it rewarding to help young people explore career paths," a Musinsa spokesperson said. "We will strengthen collective-impact efforts by leveraging our expertise and collaborating with a range of partners."
