Ahead of the spring wedding season, lifestyle boutique 29CM (Twenty-Nine Centimeters) is seeing a surge in ceremony-ready looks — from guest outfits to self-wedding styles.

Between March 1 and 21, searches on 29CM for terms like “guest looks” and “self-wedding fashion” more than doubled year over year. Sales of dresses and blouses rose about 20% and 30% respectively, while clutch bags and slacks jumped by more than 80%.
As practical self-wedding trends grow, more brides-to-be are opting for designer-brand dresses for shoots instead of expensive gowns. At the same time, a party culture that celebrates milestones — from first birthdays to bridal showers — is fueling higher interest in ceremony wear.
Reflecting that trend, 29CM will run the “29 CEREMONY” event from March 31 through April 13. Designer labels popular with women — including The Aperture, D'Found, La Meré and L'oeuvre — will offer their 25SS new arrivals and best-selling pieces at discounts up to 80%.
Shoppers will get first dibs on spring arrivals from women’s brands that 29CM highlights, with special discount perks. The platform will also host a Brand Week spotlighting about 120 brands each week and offering an additional 10% off coupon per brand.
Seventeen brands — including Duel, Jolie Raid and Komorebi Museum — will prerelease ceremony-look pieces on 29CM during the promotion. 29CM will provide a 12% discount coupon and, for purchases over 200,000 KRW (about $150), an additional coupon worth up to 30,000 KRW (about $22.50).
On March 31, 29CM will pre-release the “29 Edition,” a collaboration between actress Lim Hyun-joo and women’s accessories label Le Meme, on its live show “29 Live.” On April 1 and 7, the site will feature 25SS ceremony items from Le Nina and Archive APK at special live prices. The retailer will also roll out styling content tailored to different tastes — casual, modern and romantic — to help shoppers put together the perfect ceremony looks.
